These are sightings within Arkansas,
some are MUFON cases and some are not.

We are limited to the amount search and find of witness
information that are reported to other non investigative
organizations. Please, it's very important to report all
sightings to MUFON.
2007-08-06 11:45 PM Texarkana, AR
A friend and I were sitting on his front patio conversing when
over his shoulder I saw a somewhat red/white light appear above
the horizon in the eastern/southeastern sky moving at a 45
degree angle and then the light became a series of 3-4 white
rectangular lights that appeared in a stepwise fashion, each
bright light burning for a second and fading. My friend could
tell from my reaction to the initial lights that something was
unusual, so he turned in time to see the last couple of bright
lights burning/fading. We were astonished and confused. He said,
“Maybe it was fireworks.” I disagreed. Within seconds another
series of 3-4 bright white rectangular lights burned in a
periodic, stepwise manner further north in the sky. This
scenario continued with the lights sometimes burning at angles,
thus appearing diamond shaped, sometimes flatter and
rectangular. One time the lights appeared and did not fade
before the next appeared; this left an angled series of five or
six bright, white, diamond-shaped lights that illuminated and
faded in 2-3 seconds.

Hearing our dog barking at approximately 9:30 PM. I went
outside to observe what she was so upset about. Looking in the
direction she was appearently barking at I immediately noticed a
very large, very bright object roughly 10 degrees above the
horizion. It was very large, not a planet, and deifinetley not a
star. After some few min. of observation I asked my wife and
seven year old son to come out and look at it. All agreeded that
it was not a normal object. It was moving in a west by nortwest
direction. In the time I observed the object had moved
approximately 3-4 degrees in a space of just a few min, and was
soon behind the treeline. I attempted to set up my 6" parabolic
telescope to get a better look at it but could not do so in
time.

2007-07-03 9:50 PM Mountain Home, AR
Around 9:25pm I was watching TV, and for some reason I turned to
look out the window behind my couch. I saw a large, bright white
light, due south. I watched it through the breaks in the foliage
of the tree, when I realized it was moving, very slowly. I got
up and went outside, as I was walking outside, the view of the
object was obscured, by trees, but I noticed it had moved. I ran
out into a clearing of the field and watched it move from near
due south to a south-western orientation within about 15
seconds. The object came to a rest, and did not move (hovering),
for a good 30 minutes. My wife came outside to get me, and then
she went out and witnessed it move to a more western position.
So we decided to get in the car, and try to drive towards the
location, as we drove to the east for about 15 minutes we
noticed that the object had completely disappeared. The object
was very bright white/blue color, brighter than anything else in
the sky besides the moon. It proceed to fade out to a yellow
glow and disappear, as if the object was moving further way.

Green football shaped object falling out of the western sky at a
45 degree angle. the object had a tail for a period of a
few seconds and then the tail dissapeared a small shower of red
sparks came off the back and the object desended slowly it
appeared to slow down anyway and the object glowed green.

2006-12-10 Near Trumann
A
woman claims to have seen a black chevron-shaped UFO on Highway
63 North, near the city of Trumann. The observer was in a church

2006-05-14 Johnson, AR
Dark circular
object hovering just over tree tops sighted at corner of Main
and Carley streets in Johnson, AR. Silver edging. Happened just
at sunset, app 8:30 PM.
